Tim Swiel the fly-half player has signed a new contract with Harlequins; under this contract he is extending his association with Harlequins.
Tim Swiel is a wonderful Rugby player and is best known for his outstanding performance in LV=Cup. He made his debut with same match and fans of Tim those witnesses that performance can never forget that.
Commenting on Tim’s new contract, John Kingston, Director of Rugby Harlequins said “Tim is a great player and there is no shortage of opportunity to him. He takes the opportunities with both hands.” “I feel really proud that Tim has extended his contract with Harlequin. Even Harlequin is proud to have a player like Tim in team” he added.
Tim joined Harlequins in year 2014, to be the part of this team; Tim took loan from the Sharks. He first unveiled his talent in LV=Cup. After that he made ten appearances in four months. With his extraordinary performances, he not only made his place in the heart of his fan, but also the team members of the Harlequins.
He paid off all his loans in just four months. Tim Swiel then came back to Harlequins by signing a full time contract. The contract was signed in 2015 and after that Tim made 25 appearances. Till date he has made 131 points.
Talking about his decision to continue his contract with Harlequin, Tim said “The members here are supportive and I feel like being with family in Harlequin. To me, Harlequin is the best place to play, as it offers lots of support.”
In the next season Demetri Catrakilis is also arriving in Harlequin. Both, Tim and Demetri know each other. The supporters are feeling they both will showcase some good rugby in its class when they will play in the same team.
